A sculptural table lamp by Joseph Pagano, defined by hand-carved myrtle, textured Carrara marble, and custom brass detailing.

Alchemy balances a carved timber arm over a stone base, with a hand-wrought chain suspending an Astral custom globe below. The composition is quiet and weighted — a piece that reads as both light source and object.

Each piece is individually made. Subtle variation in timber grain, stone surface, and metal finish is inherent to the process and part of the work’s character.

Available by commissioning. The price shown is a commissioning deposit only. It secures your place in production and allows final specification, Australian wiring, and delivery to be confirmed. Within 1–2 business days of checkout, a final invoice will be issued including the remaining balance, delivery cost, and confirmed specification. Production begins once the final invoice is approved and paid.

Deposit Terms
Commissioning deposits are non-refundable once production is confirmed with the maker. If you choose not to proceed after receiving the final invoice, the deposit is refundable less any direct costs already incurred.

Joseph Pagano is an artist and designer with over 30 years’ experience in modern lighting and glass sculpture. Working across glass, wood, and metal, each piece is built by hand, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary form. His process — shaped by spontaneous design and controlled accidents — allows material to reveal character through making.
