Dreadlock White

A handwoven wool cushion defined by its sculptural surface — an expressive composition of hand-spun wool that brings movement and texture into a space.

Crafted in Chiloé, Chile, this piece departs from traditional flat weaves, instead featuring thick, looped strands of wool that extend outward from the surface. The result is tactile and dimensional — a form that feels almost organic in its construction.

The soft white tone keeps the piece grounded, allowing the texture to take precedence without overwhelming a setting. It holds presence, but in a quiet, natural way.

Each strand is shaped by hand, creating variation in density, length, and placement — no two pieces are identical. These irregularities are not imperfections, but part of the character of the work.

Used alone, it becomes a focal point. Layered, it introduces contrast against more restrained textiles.
